Medic Meeting
The meeting at Hooters last night was a big success. There were around 50 individuals representing various clubs, organizations and some independents. For those willing to brave the cold wet weather they could have taken a look at a lot of good looking rigs. The meeting was sponsored by Quadratec in the hopes of expanding the 4x4 world. Richard Queen used the event to organize a raffle to benefit the injured medic Tim Hayes. Tim was seriously injured while treating patients involved in a minor car crash on I-77 in northern Mecklenburg County NC. According to eyewitnesses, an out of control tractor-trailer slammed into the Medic ambulance and the other vehicles that were parked on the highway’s shoulder. One of those vehicles pinned Tim against a guardrail. He is currently hospitalized at Carolinas Medical Center in good condition. The event raised $200 dollars for Tim and his family. Read more about Tim Hayes here---> "Medic". C.O.R.E would like to thank Quadratec, Four Wheel Parts Wholesale and all those other individuals that gave. Pics to come.
