Day - 3
After a good breakfast at Denny’s, we got underway at 8:30. We got a good bit of driving done when another tire let loose for John and Wes’s group. After a quick tire change, and a remount at Sears we were back on our way. We started making good time at long last. Around New Mexico the air gets pretty thin and the diesels are suffocating. We still make decent time. The scenery through New Mexico was spectacular. Right now it is 8:40 mountain time, and we are 210 miles from our destination.
