John Stowe

Finally finished up John's jeep this weekend. If you havent been following the 6 month project ( my does time fly when your having fun) let me bring you up to speed. We stripped down his jeep and installed a AMC 360 v8 bored .30 over. Howell fuel injection on the top. Keeping it cool is a aluminum radiator and a high flow water pump. New clutch and flywheel. Kept the T18 tranny and Dana 300 t-case, but did install a heavy duty 32 splined output shaft in the rear. Dana 60 up front with 35 splined inner and outer shafts turned by 4:88 gears that are detroit locked and warn premium hubs. Helping to turn the knuckles is a rock ram. In the rear is a GM 14 bolt with same gears and locker and rear disc brakes. A diff guard and pinion yoke protector also installed. Installed on the axles are 39.5" super swamper iroks on modified hummer rims. Turning the axles are Tom Woods drive shafts. 1350 cv in the rear and a long splined super flexy jointed shaft up front. We did a spring over and a full width axle kit up front from Blue Torch Fab. 2.5" BDS lift springs all around and Ranch rs5000 shocks at all four corners. All new brake lines were formed and installed and power brakes to stop the beast. New gas tank and dual exhaust installed too using headman headers and flowmaster mufflers. Look out its time to play!
